Artist Statement
A self-taught Moroccan painter with over 45 years of professional practice. My work bridges contemporary and naïve styles, often inspired by coastal life, memory, and the collective resilience of marginalized communities. My practice is rooted in personal resistance and cultural testimony.
Education & Training
Self-taught artist since a very young age
Technical Baccalaureate – Morocco & France (1973–1974)
Studied mathematics and physics at IUT and Faculty of Sciences (uncompleted, due to political repression)
